Late Shri. Thakker Govindjee Dharamshi, the father of Vallabhdas Govindjee had established the timber business as early as the late 1950s. Vallabhdas Govindjee is still managing the timber business which is flourishing in Tamil Nadu too, in Mettupalayam and Pollachi areas. 

A businessman of great integrity, Mr Sasidharan has been in timber business for the past more than 15 years . Acknowledged for his honesty and integrity. Mr Sasidharan – a Gulf Returnee has been appointed as the procurement agents for Cadbury India Limited for the entire Malabar Region and has been working as such for the last several years . Mr Sasi who is well known figure in the business circle, has excellent reputation in the business community of Malabar which he has earned through sheer hard work and sincerety and is held in high esteem by one and all.
